The Annunciation: art exhibition

Twenty paintings depicting the Annunciation interpreted anew by contemporary painters will be presented for the first time in Rome on March 19, 2024.

“Let’s Paint Catholicism Again” is a project planned for twenty-one years, which brings together artists and intellectuals convinced of the need for a revival of sacred art. Its aim is to create new depictions of the main themes of Catholic devotion using an artistic language understandable for modern viewers.

The exhibition will remain open to the public until April 13, 2024.
Opening days and hours: Tuesday-Saturday 10.00-13.00/16.00-19.00
Admission is free.
