The five works of Boethius known as Opuscula Sacra constitute one of the most important philosophical and theological legacies of Late Antiquity, with an enormous fecundity for medieval thought. The lecture presents the relevance of the content of the Opuscula Sacra for both theology and metaphysical reflection, showing how the method followed by Boethius constitutes an example of the application of the philosophical content of Greek thought to Christian revelation with the aim of reaching a better understanding of the divine mystery.
