Speakers

Professor Karma Ben-Johanan: department of Comparative Religion, Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Previously, Chair in Jewish-Christian relations at the Faculty of Theology, Humboldt University, Berlin. Her book, Jacob’s Younger Brother: Christian-Jewish Relations after Vatican II, (Hebrew, 2020) won the Shazar Prize 2021; and published in English with Harvard University Press in 2022.

Professor Gavin D’Costa: Pontifical University of St Thomas, Rome, and Emeritus University of Bristol, UK. His book Catholic Doctrines on the Jewish People after Vatican II, (Oxford, 2019) has been translated into many languages and follows his earlier book: Vatican II. Catholic Doctrines on Jews and Muslims (Oxford, 2014).
