Strange Voices from the Heartland

Essays on Religion in the Contemporary Culture of Central and Eastern Europe
The book is the result of a competition that the Faculty of Social Sciences ran last year in search of intriguing and illuminating accounts in English of the experience of religion, coming from across the twenty-one countries in the Central and Eastern European region.
It includes the essays, among the 100 entries we received, that were judged to be the best by an international jury.
