The presentation examines how democratic participation challenges in investment law reflect broader questions about stakeholder inclusion in global governance.<\/p>\n

Dr Maria Laura Marceddu specializes in international investment law and policy, having taught and published in related areas for a decade. She is a Research Associate at the Edinburgh Center for International and Global Law (ECIGL). Previously, she was a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute (EUI) and a fellow at the Center of European Law at King\u2019s College London, where she earned her PhD. She served as the youngest treasurer of the Society of International Economic Law (2018-2024). She joined the editorial board of the Journal of World Investment and Trade (2024), where she spearheads an innovative program designed to support early-career scholars in navigating the publication process.<\/em><\/p>\n

La presentazione analizza in che modo una partecipazione democratica pi\u00f9 ampia nel diritto degli investimenti rifletta questioni di carattere pi\u00f9 generale legate all\u2019inclusione degli attori nella governance globale.<\/p>\n

Dr Maria Laura Marceddu \u00e8 specializzata in diritto e policy degli investimenti internazionali e da oltre un decennio insegna e pubblica in questi ambiti. \u00c8 Research Associate presso l\u2019Edinburgh Center for International and Global Law (ECIGL).
