{"id":2437,"date":"2025-03-11T11:33:54","date_gmt":"2025-03-11T09:33:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/catforumroma.it\/?p=2437"},"modified":"2025-03-11T11:53:58","modified_gmt":"2025-03-11T09:53:58","slug":"what-impact-do-religions-have-on-international-relations-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/catforumroma.it\/it\/what-impact-do-religions-have-on-international-relations-today\/","title":{"rendered":"What Impact do Religions have on International Relations Today?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of this lecture Roland Dubertrand, Coordinator of the PISAI <i>Chair on Mediterranean, Religions and Societies, <\/i>will present his book <i>G\u00e9opolitique des religions <\/i>(\u00c9ditions Le Cavalier bleu, Paris 2019) written with Mrs Valentine Zuber, Director of Studies at the \u00c9cole Pratique des Hautes \u00c9tudes, and Mrs Blandine Ch\u00e9lini-Pont, Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Aix-Marseille.<\/p>\n<p>The author will begin by outlining the ambition of this book, which was to provide an overview of the impact of religions on international relations today. It is difficult to talk about conflict resolution, terrorism, humanitarian assistance, development aid or global issues without mentioning the religious factor. The major religions have developed transnational networks, and religions have also taken a more active role in international organisations.
