Cezary Binkiewicz OP, director of the Angelicum\u2019s St. John Paul Institute of Culture.\u00a0 The lecture titled \u201cThe Truth and Searching for a New Paideia\u201d will be held in Aula 11 as part of the JP2 Lectures series at the Angelicum.<\/p>\n<p>Fr. Binkiewicz will address the questions whether the connection between truth and education still exists in today\u2019s culture, whether it is needed, and therefore whether education has any well-legitimized purpose. This is, in his opinion, important because our Western culture, which grew out of the Greek-Christian Paideia and today defines itself as postmodern, to a large extent negates and undermines this connection.<\/p>\n<p>The lecture will be held in English and is open to all.\u00a0 The lecture will also be broadcast live on Angelicum YouTube and Facebook channels.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Wednesday, February 26th at 4:30 p.m. we invite you to a public lecture by Fr.
