The lecture presents the relevance of the content of the\u00a0<em>Opuscula Sacra<\/em>\u00a0for both theology and metaphysical reflection, showing how the method followed by Boethius constitutes an example of the application of the philosophical content of Greek thought to Christian revelation with the aim of reaching a better understanding of the divine mystery.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Luis\u00a0Javier\u00a0Garc\u00eda-Lomas Gago<\/strong>, OSB, PhD, is Professor of Metaphysics at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Pontificio Ateneo Sant\u2019Anselmo and at the Faculty of Theology of Northern Spain (Burgos). He has specialized in the monastic authors of the twelfth century and in the medieval heritage of Augustinian thought.
