{"id":1423,"date":"2022-05-09T11:23:18","date_gmt":"2022-05-09T09:23:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/catforumroma.it\/?p=1423"},"modified":"2022-05-09T11:23:18","modified_gmt":"2022-05-09T09:23:18","slug":"rome-workshops-on-dante","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/catforumroma.it\/it\/rome-workshops-on-dante\/","title":{"rendered":"Rome Workshops on Dante"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Devers Family Program in Dante Studies and the Center for Italian Studies at the University of Notre Dame have organized two workshops which will be held between 11-13 May 2022 at the Notre Dame\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/italianstudies.nd.edu\/research\/global-gateway\/\">Rome Global Gateway<\/a>. The first, on the afternoon of 11 May, will bring to a close the seminars held on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/italianstudies.nd.edu\/research\/devers-program\/commemorating-dante-in-2021\/\">Ante-Purgatory<\/a>. The second one, on 12-13 May, will bring together the contributors to \u201cNow feed yourself\u201d: Anglo-American and Italian Scholarship on Dante, which will be published by Legenda in its \u201cItalian Perspectives\u201d series.<\/p>\n<p>The primary purpose of the workshops is to create a space where Dantists can meet and discuss their research and ideas in a supportive and collegial atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>This workshop will be open to invited speakers and discussants only.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Workshops Schedule<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3>Wednesday, 11 May: Ante-Purgatory<\/h3>\n<p>15.00:\u00a0 (i) \u201cMapping Ante-Purgatory\u201d \u2014\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/romancelanguages.nd.edu\/people\/faculty\/theodore-j-cachey-jr\/\">Theodore J.
